Gus is a strikingly handsome fellow with a unique tan coloring. He is a reserved but friendly guy who will happily roll over for a belly rub after taking a bit of time to get to know you.

Gus joined Whispering Rise in December 2013 as a one-year-old. He was relinquished to a Montgomery County animal shelter when his family realized that the “teacup pig” they had purchased from a breeder was growing…and growing…and growing. He now weighs in at an estimated 150 pounds!

Gus loves taking mud baths after his lunch then finding a cozy spot for a nap—usually with Belliumpkins, his best friend and hut-mate since his early days at the sanctuary.
