Say hello to Stimpy! He came to the sanctuary with his buddy Ren, who we unfortunately lost in 2025.

When they arrived at the sanctuary in 2014, both boys were morbidly obese and difficult to tell apart. As they aged, that became easier – as one volunteer said, “It’s like Ren has shrunk in a dryer!” Stimpy, on the other hand, has maintained his ”full figured look” throughout the years.

While their beginning is unknown, if you lived in the Baltimore area in 2011, you may have seen them on the local news! These boys were found nesting in the Glen Burnie area by the B/W Parkway. Some workers at a local business kept an eye on them while animal services worked on a plan to capture them without causing them to run onto the highway. The road warriors were safely captured and eventually made their way to WFAS in 2011.

Stimpy has been known to be food aggressive so resides in the pen with the unpredictable, sometime nippy pigs.
