Luther
Luther is a bit of a legend at WRFAS! He is smart and handsome with a sprinkle of attitude.
When he came to us in 2017 at about 2 ½ years old, he was a lean, mean, un-neutered machine! Like many un-neutered males, he was territorial and had some aggressive tendencies. Now that is fully mature, he has mellowed a bit and considerably less lean, but still set in his aggressive ways. This guy has given many of our volunteers a solid run for their money and for that reason we ask our visitors to pay attention to the warning “side eye” that he has mastered and to look and not touch.
He has bonded nicely with his herd and lives a good pig life of wallowing, rooting in the woods and napping most of the day. While he may not be the friendliest of residents, everyone deserves a safe home and he will forever be a valued member of our WRFAS family.
