Petunia, Puzzle & Pickle are a bonded trio of sisters that came to us in December 2021 at 9 years old. They were surrendered by their owner to Anne Arundel County Animal Control. Their “hold date” had come and gone and were in danger of being euthanized. Whispering Rise agreed to give the family a safe, loving forever-home where they could live out their golden years together.

The ladies had never been spayed which presents a significant risk of uterine cancer in pigs. The vet advised against spaying due to the surgical risk their age presented, but Pickle was discovered to have complicated tumors and two surgeries were required. Pickle’s sisters have spays planned soon to prevent future problems. 

We are thrilled to have this little family as part of our extended WRFAS family!
