Penelope Ann joined Whispering Rise in February 2022 when she was 4 ½ years old. She had been living as a single pet pig in a townhouse, so joining a large herd was a bit intimidating and out of her comfort zone. She stayed on the outskirts for several months and slept alone for even longer, not realizing yet that pigs are her people.

While shy with other pigs, Penelope Ann is sweet with people and appreciates affection.  We are confident that she will find her special pig partner as time passes. In the meantime, she can count on plenty of love and attention from the volunteers at WRFAS!
