Belliumpkins has been a Whispering Rise legend since 2014. This handsome spotted fellow is a potbelly/farm hog mix. He is gentle giant with a personality to match! Belli was rescued from slaughter by a college student on the Eastern Shore. They become roommates for about a year—sharing an apartment and a bed and hiding quietly when the landlord was nearby. He was discovered after about a year so it was time to find a new home. He is one our largest residents but don’t let his size scare you–he is very friendly and sweet. Feeding time brings out Belli’s enthusiastic, athletic side. He will climb into the produce cart and help himself! Belli’s best friend for life is Gus, another long-time resident. They enjoy cooling off in the wallow together and sharing a hut.
