George is easy to find when you visit Whispering Rise—just look for the cute pig with the huge smile! Call his name and he’ll come running, hoping it’s time for his “medicine cookie” and a bit of love.

George was ordered from a breeder in Florida and lived with a family as a pet for several years. Unfortunately, the couple separated and George did not adjust well to the new living situation and new people in his life. George become a “relationship casualty” as many pets do.

He joined the sanctuary in June 2015. George is thriving with his pig family. He enjoys rooting in the woods and napping in the sunshine.
