Ziggy & Lucky – known by the tabloids as Zuggy – have been a bonded pair since the each arrived within a few weeks of each other in 2018. Little spotted Ziggy was purchased from a breeder as an apartment pig.  Ziggy got too big, and couldn’t go up and down the steps. He ended up living in a crate in an apartment for five years. Ziggy went to a second where he was well-loved and socialized, but his new owner developed lung cancer and he needed a new home again.

Lucky is a pink/white pig with an adorable underbite. He was purchased by a family to be their child’s therapy pig. He quickly became too large and when he reached maturity, became aggressive toward people as many single pigs do. His previous owners said what so many do—“I regret that I fell for the ‘teacup pig’ claims but all I can do no is move forward.”
